Wednesday Wisdom

My most important piece of advice to all you would-be writers: when you write, try to leave out all the parts readers skip.  –Elmore Leonard

Have you ever read a book with long narratives and found yourself skimming to find some dialogue?

You want the ACTION– you skip through all the lengthy descriptions to get to the GOOD STUFF.

When writing let’s remember to:

Be nice to our readers–if the words are not necessary to push the story forward, then leave them out.
