Delicate Wings

I love to share this story with students in Spring.

For over 25 years, photographer Kjell B. Sandved traveled around the world photographing butterflies for this book.  With his close-ups of their delicate wings, each butterfly reveals a letter of the alphabet somehow painted on by God’s hand.

Just as a photographer, writers must also have an eye for detail.  As we interact with the world around us, may we take time to notice the smallest of things–hidden within our everyday routines, waiting to be discovered.

I hope that you’ll take time to check out this book as a reminder to stop and enjoy the beauty of God’s creation and the many delights He supplies within it.
